With recipes called The Texas Tumbleweed and Golden Punch you would be forgiven for assuming that there’s a hangover waiting at the end of these cocktails, but they are in fact all alcohol free; based mainly on a nuclear mixture of fruit juice and soda pop – bubblegum colored concoctions that’ll have both kids and parents bouncing around the clock.
Sandler’s recipes promise many great parties ahead as well as offering kids the opportunity to have fun experimenting in the kitchen. Derek Yaniger’s artwork successfully elevates what could otherwise be a straightforward gift book into a treat for fans of Hanna-Barbera-esque retro style.
