Adding a hand-drawn touch to it’s title design, the Marvel Studios series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law features my Endless Sunrise font used in contrast with Neue Helvetica Bold and Bold Condensed.
This refreshingly fun looking series stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk, a lawyer who specialises in superhuman-oriented legal cases. It also see’s the return of Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk and Tim Roth as the Abomination.
It’s a striking title design that hints at the split personality of its central character and overall comedic nature of the show.
The logo and title features in all key art including the Disney+ app, Youtube trailers and print advertising. I couldn’t be happier to see my font used in this way, matching the 80s/90s aesthetic that I designed into the original hand-drawn typeface. The show itself is the latest addition to the phenomenally popular Marvel Universe and is streaming exclusively on Disney+ from August 17th.
The website Creative Bloq go into further detail on the design progression, showing how the logo changed from a controversial early design to the final version.
The Endless Sunrise Font can be purchased here and is part of The Video Store Collection of Retro Fonts inspired by old-school movie posters, VHS covers and title designs.
