Everybody knows that classic Screaming Hand image worn by surfers and skaters around on Santa Cruz merch around the world. Fewer people know that this was created by the great surf illustrator Jim Phillips, an artist whose work is impossible not to feel inspired and energised by. Riding this wave if added this quick image to my sketchbook.
