A Placard Font Ready for Game Day!
Get ready for game day with this handwritten font, designed to replicate the look of stadium placards and their motivational messages from enthusiastic fans.
Boasting an almost childlike look while remaining highly legible, the Sports Fan font family includes three styles – starting with the Regular (suitable for any project that requires a formal, but analogue look), the Outline, which adds a loose fitting hand-drawn appearance, and Thin, for secondary text. Combine these with the additional illustrations and crayon textures, and you have the tools to create championship winning slogans.
I’ve designed it to be a playful font that encourages you to experiment with layering up each style, plus the optional textures are ready and waiting when you need them. It works great when you invert the colours too, offering a more chalkboard-like finish. Check out the visuals for my own usage suggestions.
The Sports Fan font family includes a complete set of uppercase and lowercase characters, along with numerals, punctuation, symbols and language support.
It also comes with selection of underlines and sports themed illustrations, plus crayon textures in three degrees of thickness. These textures are supplied as repeatable pattern swatches, compatible with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS1 and above. Rasterised versions are all supplied in JPG and PNG formats. Enjoy!

EXCLUSIVE: Just One License
Countless customers have contacted me over the years, totally confused by industry standards in font licensing, baffled by its terminology and legal requirements. Frankly, I don’t blame them. When you just want to buy a font, decoding the rights and wrongs of Desktop, Web, ePub and App licences feels like an unnecessary hurdle. Add to that the number of users (or seats) you might need, plus the fortune-telling required to know how successful a project might be, something that should be fun becomes a stress.
That’s why I’ve introduced Just One License. A enterprise style license that covers everything you might need, including perpetual physical, digital, broadcast and streaming use, so you can develop your projects without the worry of future compliance. It’s a great option for freelancers, studios or corporations covering a broad media landscape.
IT COVERS (ALMOST) EVERYTHING!*
– A Worldwide Perpetual License
– Full Commercial Use
– Physical & Digital Products

A no-fuss, pay-once license that enables you to use fonts whenever and wherever suits you. Easy Peazy!
