Case Studies & Client Work
I’ve been thrilled to work on a variety of exciting projects and see my design resources appear in amazing places. Here are some of my favourites.
The Good The Bad And The Ugly
An illustrated poster design for Rizty Picture House London Spaghetti Western film season. Illustrated with brush and black ink. Coloured in Adobe Photoshop with title designed in Adobe Illustrator.
Synopsis: A bounty hunting scam joins two men in an uneasy alliance against a third in a race to find a fortune in gold buried in a remote cemetery.
Collection of one sheet theatrical poster designs with original title design incorporating both English and Korean titles.
Blood Type follows journey of a Korean girl working in a hostel in London and struggling to fit in, until she develops a connection with another guest, which lets her discover about her roots and history of her country. The film alternates between modern days and a period part set in Siberia of 1930s.
Stanley Kubrick Film Season
Celebrating the work of legendary filmmaker Stanley Kubrick this sequence reflects on the iconic imagery from his classic films including The Shining, Lolita and 2001, presenting them in an abstract, almost architectural fashion that sets the mood for the cinematic experience to come.
Created using a combination of original illustrations and typographic elements from Adobe Illustrator and animated in After Effects.
Sourced from my 1980s Megamix Graphics Bundle, the production designers on Stranger Things used the 1980s inspired patterns to decorate various elements inside the Starcourt Mall and promotional pop-up experiences.
Illustrated Film Posters
A self-confessed movie buff I sometimes experiment with illustrations based on my favourite films. Some of these pieces have been featured in books including Matthew Chojnacki‘s Alternative Film Posters.
